Two sworn enemies -- "Boston Rob" Mariano and Texas oil tycoon Russell Hantz -- will probably be battling every other and 16 newcomer when the 22nd season of "Survivor" gets under way Wednesday night. (8 p.m. on CBS)
"Survivor" fans are only able to wonder whether Rob and Russell's huge egos can get within the way of their game, and whether or not their celebrity status in the reality TV world could trigger a fast ouster on the show. It must be an interesting season.
Because Rob and Russell have been acquiring all of the pre-season attention, we figured it was time introducing the other castaways -- those who had no thought they could be opposite two strong veteran "Survivor" strategies till they appeared about the island in Nicaragua (yep, exact same location as last season) for that commence of taping.
And then we come up with this small photo gallery yesterday.
I'm really searching forward to seeing the expression on the faces when Russell and Rob are begins on the day first.
